About Rx

It began at my kitchen table, experimenting with scents and wax blends just for the love of it. What started as a hobby turned into a dream, and in 2013 I launched a little Kickstarter to make it real. The campaign was a success, and from the very beginning I took my candles to markets all over Los Angeles, meeting people face to face and learning, in real time, what they truly loved.

More than 13 years later, that is still how I do it. Every scent in the collection has been shaped by thousands of honest, in-person reactions. If something doesn't resonate, I let it go, even the ones I personally adore. What remains is a collection that has genuinely earned its place, one candle, one market, one "oh wow, what is that?" at a time.

Today RXLA is still small, still handmade, and still made with a lot of intention, now here in the Atlanta area, though my heart will always carry a bit of Los Angeles in it. I pour everything by hand, in small batches, with clean, high-quality ingredients that feel far more luxurious than the price.
