Unpack and Prepare: Remove the diffuser bottle and reeds from their packaging. If your diffuser comes with a seal or stopper, carefully remove it to access the fragrance oil.
Insert the Reeds: Place the reeds into the bottle, ensuring that the ends are submerged in the oil. The reeds will absorb the oil and begin to diffuse the scent into the air. Note: control your fragrance by using more or less reeds. More reeds = stronger scent.
Initial Flip: After about an hour, flip the reeds so the saturated ends are exposed to the air. This jumpstarts the diffusion process, allowing the fragrance to permeate your space more quickly.
Placement: Position your reed diffuser in a safe, stable area away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. Ideal locations include entryways, bathrooms, or living areas where the scent can circulate freely
Maintenance: To maintain a consistent fragrance level, flip the reeds every few days. Be cautious when flipping to avoid any oil spills; it's advisable to do this over a sink or a protected surface.
Refill or Replace: Over time, the fragrance oil will diminish, and the reeds may become saturated and less effective. Typically, reed diffusers last up to 6 months. When the scent fades, consider refilling the oil and replacing the reeds to continue enjoying the aroma.
